Starch stained sadness, a walk in the dark wont stop your bad news fuse
From being lit up tonight.
Woke up to a cool and temperate day
It was nice but humidity took it away
That smog already upon us today
I'm left smuggling my pain
It's getting there, the last bridge burned just to keep on
Keepin' it to yourself
And when they stare, you'll pick up and run and find a new place
And reject any help
At the nursery, there upon the shelf
Stood a pretty plant, once good in health
At the end of the season, somehow untouched
These leaves will wilt if they stay unloved
Wilt if they stay unloved
You cant save yourself
You put it off again
Does this come back to haunt you?
